As part of the Festival of Chichester, the Friends of Chartres, Ravenna, Valetta and now Speyer, organise a regular event to raise awareness of each of the city twinnings. This year’s will feature Tom Brown, Head Gardener at West Dean, in conversation with Phil Hewitt at the Assembly Room, North Street, Chichester. The talk starts at 7.30pm; afterwards there will be food from each of the four cities. Tickets are £12, available through The Novium box office, or direct from Stephen Northdale, Four Cities Treasurer stephen.northdale@laposte.net. Stephen will not issue tickets but will keep a list of those who have paid, and supply this at the door at the event.
